“O Voo da Vida”, de José Carlos Costa, begins a series of presentations across the islands of the Azores, with sessions in Faial, Pico, Terceira and São Miguel between 17 April and 2 May. The novel, with a strong ethnographic character, explores memories, affections and the social transformations of the archipelago, following João’s life journey and the Azorean “spirit of place”.
