On a dark night, a packed American diner is suddenly interrupted when a man bursts in holding a detonator, claiming to be from the future. It is the 117th time he has returned with the same warning.

Before time runs out, he must convince a completely unlikely group of customers to help him prevent an artificial intelligence apocalypse and save humanity from the dangers of social media.

The problem? Everything is against them: from skeptical strangers and scroll-addicted teenagers to out-of-control algorithmic monstrosities.

Still, if this unlikely group can come together, the world might stand a chance… or maybe not!
