C’á Fé na Sé is an initiative of the Pastoral Council of the Sé of Angra, a truly synodal body that promotes formation and dialogue meetings in a tertúlia format, held in the welcoming setting of the Episcopal Sacristy of the Sé.
In addition to reflection on faith and Christian identity, these gatherings aim to provide a moment of fellowship “over a cup of tea or coffee,” where everyone can feel “at home,” as a parish family. Although it is a parish initiative, it is open to all those who wish to respond to the diocesan question: “Christian, what do you say about yourself?”
The proposal unfolds in three moments:
In the first moment, the identity of a Christian on the journey will be explored, recalling the richness of the catechumenal period — an experience many may not have lived — in a session guided by the Parish Priest.
In the second moment, participants will discover the heritage of the Sé, with the presentation of the newly published Cathedral and Treasury Catalogues, as well as a reflection on religious museums and a visit to the Sé Treasury, guided by the Diocesan Service for Cultural Heritage.
Finally, the Lenten journey will conclude with an address by the Diocesan Bishop on the theme “The Church in the City,” marking a final moment of special significance.
