Yves Decoster, a graduate in Graphic Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium and a resident of São Miguel, where he has lived since 1988, has already held 25 solo exhibitions in São Miguel. He is also known for his hearts, painted on walls all over the island. He is part of the Arte Viva group of painters.
