The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the João José da Graça Public Library and Regional Archive, presents “Gold Rush: Tales of the Klondike”, a performative session dedicated to the poems of Robert Service, presented by Robert Hay Smith, on March 25 at 21:00, at the BPARJJG Auditorium.
In this session, presented entirely in English, Robert Hay Smith will recount stories of men who experienced the Klondike Gold Rush, in Canada, between 1897 and 1898, giving voice to the poems of Robert Service and recreating the epic and human atmosphere of this remarkable moment in history.
