On the 16th of October, OMIC is celebrating World Bread Day by promoting the action ‘Hands-on: The Science of Bread’, through practical activities in educational institutions. The aim is to sensitise young people to the biotechnological role that microorganisms, especially yeasts, play in the fermentation process of bread.
