📍 Arquipélago – Centro de Artes Contemporâneas

During the month of June, Arquipélago – Centro de Artes Contemporâneas is in transformation: exhibitions are being dismantled and new ones are being prepared. But what happens inside an exhibition gallery when no one is watching? And where are the collection’s artworks kept when they are not on display?

In these ongoing workshops, participants will discover the behind-the-scenes workings of Arquipélago, get a closer look at selected pieces from the collection, and learn how an exhibition is assembled.

Over the course of two days, participants will engage with the work of different artists and experiment with techniques inspired by their artistic practices.
