Pedro PMDS presents an immersive sound experience inspired by the memories of Azorean nature, created from field recordings gathered across the islands and along the very trail where the performance takes place.

The work follows an imaginary timeline, beginning with the geological formation of the Azores and journeying into a future where technology and nature coexist and merge.

Set within a natural environment that becomes an integral part of the artistic creation, the performance highlights the expressive qualities of the landscape, inviting audiences into a unique sensory experience.

In response to Pedro PMDS’s sound composition, Sofia Caetano and Elliot Sheedy created visual projections displayed directly onto the forest trees, transforming them into natural screens and expanding the immersive dimension of the performance.

A captivating journey through sound, image, and nature, where the Azorean landscape is revealed through new forms of perception and imagination.
