“Hand to Hand” is a workshop dedicated to the discovery, exploration, and transmission of the Portuguese guitar as a living heritage of Portuguese musical culture. Part of the Portuguese Guitar Festival, promoted by the Fado Museum and Lisboa Cultura, it arrives in Ponta Delgada as part of the Ponta Delgada 2026 – Portuguese Capital of Culture, under the theme “Place of Tomorrow”.

Open to the general public, this workshop offers an inclusive and participatory approach, regardless of participants’ musical knowledge or previous experience with the Portuguese guitar or any other instrument.
