There's a long journey between nectar and honey. After the bees turn the nectar from the flowers into honey, they store it in the hive, and it serves as food for the swarm. But bees store more than they consume. How is honey extracted? On this visit you'll discover and experience the process of extracting honey until it reaches our tables.

At the end of the visit, you'll have the opportunity to taste the different types of honey from the Azores in a blind tasting to understand the influence of the flora on the flavours, colours, and aromas of each type of honey.
